 This is reported to be the most Republican-leaning district served by a Democrat Senator.  Chuck Colgan, 76, a Democrat, has served in the Senate since 1976 and is the longest serving state senator.  Dave Mabie, 60, a Republican, is the current Clerk of the Court for Prince William County.
