Republican Mark Cole, the popular incumbent, has quickly developed a reputation as a pro-life leader with a conservative voting record. He voted to repeal the “death tax,” voted against the Sales Tax increase referenda, voted to stop taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood, to allow our national motto “In God We Trust” in public buildings, and to increase penalties for child porn. He voted for parental consent before a minor’s abortion, for a ban on partial birh abortions, for higher health and safety standards in abortion clinics, and for school choice scholarships for low income students. He pledges to oppose tax increases. He favors limiting growth of spending to inflation plus population growth, 2^nd Amendment rights, reducing the family tax burden, and revenue-neutral revisions to the Tax Code.
