Albert
Pollard, Democrat incumbent, has a mixed voting
record on family issues. He voted
against “death tax” repeal, for banning partial birth infanticide and for
parental consent before abortions, but voted for taxpayer funds for Planned Parenthood
and against improving health and safety standards in abortion clinics. Republican
challenger Shawn Donohue is a pro-life, conservative who
favors school choice, & opposes increasing taxes, He supports “death tax”
repeal, limiting growth of spending to inflation plus population growth, 2nd
Amendment rights, parental consent before a minor’s abortion, reducing the
family tax burden, and revenue-neutral revisions to the Tax Code. He opposes
the gay agenda and taxpayer funding of abortions. (See his Issues
